Pride Week is a partnership between the LGBTQ Center, student organizations and University departments across campus that focus on inclusivity and/or advocacy related to gender and sexual diversity. Together we put on social and educational events to build community for LGBTIQA+ and allied campus communities.

Queer Trivia 7pm-10pm at Linda's Bar and Grill
Queers take over the Linda's Downbar (again)! Join us for a night of Queer Trivia, in which ALL the questions have to do with queer history, queer pop culture, queer celebrities, etc.
Come with your own trivia team or be paired with a group of new friends. All ages are welcome.
Doors open at 7 and trivia starts at 8.The winning team receives a $25 Linda's gift certificate!

Tuesday April 9th
Interfaith Prayer 12pm-2pm in The Gift Plaza
This interfaith prayer event will be led by a variety of faith leaders from the Triangle area. It will be a space for LGBTQ+ people of all faith traditions to pray, in whatever form is appropriate for them, for resilience, justice, safety, and acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community.

Pizza and a Movie: The Imitation Game 5:30-8:30pm in Sitterson Hall room 014
Enjoy a free pizza dinner followed by a screening of "The Imitation Game." The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turing, a gay British intelligence officer who helped break the Nazi enigma code during WWII.

This mini film festival will feature several short films (screened in their native language but with English subtitles) visualizing LGBTQ identity in the EU, from various member states’ perspectives.

Come out to Local 506 for a night of queer karaoke! UNC SAGA will be hosting this event as part of UNC's Pride Week - but everyone is free to come! There will be no cover charge and the event is open to everyone 18+. Pick your favorite song from Karafun's catalog and sing your heart out! STEM Pride welcomes Dr. Seth Sullivant, Professor of Mathematics at NCSU, to speak to students, faculty, and staff about his experiences as an openly-queer identified individual in a STEM Field. Free hors d'oeurves to follow!

Come celebrate Pride Week with other LGBTQIA+ graduate and professional students! QGAPS is partnering with other LGBTIQA+ affiliated graduate and professional student organizations to bring together students from across campus to build community both within and outside of their own school, department, or program. We'll be getting together at TOPO Back Bar from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 11th to enjoy some free appetizers and take advantage of the fantastic specials TOPO offers for graduate and professional students!

Free Screening: Pose 5-7pm in Cobb Movie Room
Ryan Murphy’s newest FX series Pose – which premiered on June 3rd–is a musical drama set in the ’80s ballroom underground subculture of Harlem. Pose stars a cast of trans women of color–faces rarely seen on television. In fact, the show boasts the largest cast of transgender actors in television history. Join UNC QTPOC (Queer and Trans People of Color) and Campus Y for a free screening tonight from 5-7pm in Cobb Movie Room!

The grand finale of Pride Week 2019! A night of food, dancing, or lingering awkwardly near the walls. There will be music! Pictures! People dressed to impress (spoiler: it's you dressing to impress! We all will, in fact, and we will look fantastic)! Queer Prom is a free and open event-no tickets or advanced registration required. This year, our theme is enchanted forest. Dressing on theme is encouraged!
