Advocacy Awards Committee Application

About the Committee

LGBTIQA+ Advocacy Awards Committee is ideally comprised of two (2) each of the following:

  • staff members
  • faculty members
  • undergraduate students
  • graduate/professional students
  • alums

Our goal is to create a committee that represents as much diversity of experience as possible. To that end, we have included questions about your personal identities. Responses to these questions will not be shared with other committee members.

Committee members will review nomination forms and select the LGBTIQA+ Advocacy Award recipients (one graduate/professional student winner, one undergraduate student winner, and one faculty/staff winner) based on preset criteria.

Awards will be presented to one graduating undergraduate student, one graduating graduate/professional student, and one faculty/staff member.

Expectations of Committee Members:

Must be connected with campus-based LGBTIQA+ communities

Must be able to attend 2 meetings (one in March and one in April)

How to Join the Committee

Interested volunteers should complete the application form by February 22, 2019 to be considered.
