Social Programs and Theme Weeks

The LGBTQ Center sponsors programs such as monthly social events, major speakers and film screenings. UNC students, faculty, staff and community members can request programming (speakers, workshops, or presentations) or propose specific program ideas for the campus community.

Preference is given to programs or program ideas that address intersecting identities, fit within the LGBTQ Center mission and values statement, and are proposed one month in advance of the event date.

To request a program or submit a program idea, please submit a completed Programming/Workshop Request Form (the form on the old site was incorrect). LGBTQ Center staff will contact you within one week after receiving a completed form.
