Queering Punk: Queercore 101
This presentation explores queercore, a subgenre of punk music that focuses on radical politics and queer themes. I’ll go over a brief history of queercore, highlight some zines that shaped the movement, and talk about some of my favorite bands, albums, and songs from the inception of queercore to modern work.
