LGBTQ Center Ambassadors
Ambassadors help LGBTQ Center staff plan and host welcoming events for LGBTQIA+ students at Carolina. Everyone is welcome to participate as often and in the ways they are most comfortable. Duties include:
- brainstorming with Center staff to come up with awareness strategies and social events around visibility days
- helping to write and design promotional and educational material
- setting up and greeting people at the Center's social events
- talking to folx who visit our table in the Pit on visibility days
If you're interested or curious about helping plan and promote LGBTQ Center events, feel free to join us!

Hi!! My name is Alexandra, and I'm a sophomore originally from just north of Charlotte! My pronouns are she/her/hers, and I don't identify with a specific sexuality label. I'm a math and computer science major, and I've been an ambassador since the beginning of last year!
I'm a sophomore majoring in Communication Studies and Gender Studies. I'm a non-binary lesbian! I love to read, listen to music, and watch a whole lot of shows and movies - I'm in about a million fandoms and am always excited to make new friends through shared interests!
