LGBTQ Center

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Center works to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for UNC-Chapel Hill community members of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

We address this mission by allocating our resources across three broad areas: Educational Programs, Direct Support and Advocacy, and Community-Building.

Programs, services, and advocacy efforts are guiding by an intersectional social justice framework, which recognizes that people experience the world in very different ways depending on the constellation of societally privileged and/or marginalized identities they hold.

Get involved by volunteering as an LGBTQ Center Ambassador or by taking a Safe Zone training and joining the Safe Zone Allyship Network!

As hosts of QFF, representatives on this page will be in the "main event" Zoom to help direct you!
