Join the LGBTQ Center in Coker Arboretum on November 19 from 4pm-5:30pm to honor Trans Day of Remembrance. Together, attendees will be invited to write words of remembrance on slips of water-soluble paper, then be guided through planting the words alongside native seeds in small pots. The pots will then be donated to a nearby area to be planted so the memory can live on. Artists and poets who are interested in helping to create an environment of grounding, reflection, community, and heart can supply in-person performance, written text, visual artwork, or other mediums. We hope you will join us for a time to reconnect and grow together.
Eligible for CLE Credit!
