Trans Talk Space is a collaborative peer support and discussion group facilitated by the LGBTQ Center and UNC Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). This group is intended to provide community and connection among folks on the basis of gender identity. All students, staff, and faculty who hold identities as transgender, genderqueer, or gender-questioning are welcome! Taking place in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union Room 3206A-B from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday August 22, 2024, “Enter the Rainbow Galaxy” will be a starfield of programs, resources, and organizations orbiting around campus, designed to help you get more involved in and supported by the Carolina community. Start your Pride Week by slowing down and reconnecting with nature! Taking place in the Coker Arboretum at the Marth DeBerry Overlook, be guided in an hour-long walking meditation led by a member of the North Carolina Botanical Gardens. Afterward, reconnect with yourself by painting and reflecting on what you observed on the walk. *** Eligible for CLE credit.
