Alum Magazine

In Aluminate, our semi-annual Alum magazine, we provide an opportunity to stay connected to the Center's ongoing changes, challenges, and achievements. It is delivered via our Alumni listserv and in print, when funding permits. Each issue, we interview and feature a randomly chosen Alum. In April 2013, we invited our alumni, alumnae, and alums to name the magazine. The winning name - Aluminate (a play on alumni, alumnae and illuminate) - came from Lynne Walter, who now has bragging rights to the title and a bag o' swag filled with all kinds of UNC goodies (compliments of GAA)! Thanks to all of you who voted and congratulations, Lynne!

Too often the accomplishments of LGBTIQA+ folks go unheralded or without the recognition deserved. The LGBTQ Center staff would like to showcase the wonderful adventures and accomplishments (professional and personal achievements) of our UNC Alum. We'd also like to provide visible role models and a list of folks who are willing to contribute information and/or time to new generations of Tarheels.

To that end, we invite UNC alum to share a little about their adventures since graduation as well as to serve as a resource contact. If you are willing to participate in this project, please complete the alum information form. The information will be compiled and made available on this site.  You may also be asked to be a featured alum in an upcoming edition of Aluminate!

We also invite all alumni to join the LGBTQA Alum Listserv.

We hope you are doing well and we look forward to hearing from you!
