Completion of this form indicates your agreement to the Safe Zone Allyship Commitment:

I pledge to be an informed, strong ally for people who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual, or as another sexual and gender minority (LGBTQIA+).

I am committed to educating myself on how to support the LGBTQIA+ community, understanding that the goal is not to become an expert but to continue to amplify the voices of people who are directly impacted.

I am committed to engaging in conversation with my family, friends, community, and colleagues about the effects of heterosexism, biphobia, transphobia, and homophobia, and to combatting it on a personal, interpersonal, and professional level.

I will be aware of the resources available to me in my work and personal environment so that I can make those resources more accessible to LGBTQIA+ people.

I have read the Safe Zone Allyship Commitment and elect to become a voluntary Safe Zone member and to be supportive of people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.
