Lavender Graduation

Sunday, May 6th, 2018 from 4pm-6pm in Stone Center Hitchcock Room

Keynote Speaker

This year’s keynote speaker is Iimay Ho, Director of Resource Generation, which organizes young people with wealth and class privilege in the U.S. to become transformative leaders working towards the equitable distribution of wealth, land and power.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Iimay was politicized through interning with Southerners on New Ground (SONG), which builds, sustains, and connects a Southern regional base of LGBTQ people in order to transform the region.

In keeping with UNC policy, you are eligible to participate in the 2018 ceremony if you graduate in December, 2017 or May, 2018. We encourage graduates to invite their friends, families and loved ones. Everyone is invited to attend this celebratory catered ceremony.

Register to participate using the form at the bottom of this page.

Deadline extended to Friday, April 27, 2018.
