Request Appointment or Conversation
Center staff are available to meet with people individually to discuss issues related to identity development, relationships, family, academics, and allyship.
ALERT
Conversation requests are temporarily suspended while the LGBTQ Center is short-staffed. This page will return soon! In the meantime, you can reach us at [email protected] or give us a call at (919) 843-5376.
Confidentiality Notice
The LGBTQ Center's professional staff members are designated by the University as Responsible Employees. This means we must report any incident of discrimination, harassment, sexual violence, interpersonal violence, or stalking to the Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office. The EOC will then reach out to the affected person via email to let them know about their rights and options for seeking support and reporting the incident. The affected person can choose whether they want to take action from there, but they are not required to do so. Learn more about Responsible Employees.
Confidential Alternatives
Find confidential resources on the Safe at UNC website. If preferred, LGBTQ Center staff can provide an introduction to the Gender Violence Services Coordinators, Counseling and Psychological Services, or the University Ombuds (independent from the University).
