Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM)

oSTEM empowers LGBTQ people in STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy. We hold social events to connect queer STEM students with one another, and we partner with graduate students in STEM Pride to provide one-on-one mentorship opportunities.

Hi everyone! I’m a junior majoring in Biology and Women’s and Gender Studies with a minor in Chemistry. This year, I’m excited to be President of Out in STEM, and I can’t wait to meet y’all! I love talking about science and medicine (I’m pre-med), but I’d also love to chat about being queer and college life in general. Most days, you can also catch me baking and playing too much Animal Crossing.

Hello! I'm a junior majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in biology. I'm excited to get to meet new club members in Out in STEM, and as treasurer, I appreciate your ideas for club events and what to do with funds. You can probably find me frantically studying and consuming way too much caffeine, but feel free to say hi! I love talking about science, particularly the science regarding climate change, music, TV shows, and baking, as well as college life. If you have any questions, just send them my way!
