Frequently Asked Questions
Can cisgender allies attend Trans Talk Space?
This space is not meant to be an educational space where people have to explain their identities. Unless you have been asked to accompany someone who is transgender, gender-nonconforming, or questioning their gender (i.e. for emotional support entering a new space), we ask that you do not attend this program. You are welcome to attend any of our educational programs and/or resources for supportive families and friends.
Is Trans Talk Space only for students?
No -- Trans Talk Space is open to any member of the Carolina community (undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff) who identifies as transgender, gender-nonconforming, or who is questioning their gender.
