Queer FallFest

What is it?

Queer FallFest is a drop-in event for LGBTQIA+ and allied students to learn about and get involved with LGBTQIA+ organizations at Carolina!

Who is it for?

New and returning students seeking to connect (or reconnect) with others who share interests in social equity for people of marginalized sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

QFF is for anyone who wants to:

  • Find out how to become an LGBTQ Center Ambassador and help shape Center programming.
  • Learn about upcoming events scheduled or being planned for the semester.
  • Get involved with student organizations that work towards equity and cultivate community for LGBTQIA+ and allied students.
  • Learn about LGBTQIA+ specific services and resources around campus.

How do I attend?

This year, Queer FallFest is all online!  Join us on Wednesday, August 12th from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. There are two ways to get started:

Option one:

Browse this website and figure out which organizations interest you, then join their listed Zoom meeting during the event!

Option two:

Join the LGBTQ Center's "Queer FallFest - Main Event" Zoom meeting and let a Center Ambassador help you decide which organizations might be suited to your interests. If you want, they can even join another organization's meeting and introduce you!
