Queer Fall Fest
What is it?
Queer Fall Fest is a drop-in event for LGBTQIA+ and allied students to learn about and get involved with LGBTQIA+ organizations at Carolina.
Who is it for?
New and returning students seeking to connect (or reconnect) with others who share interests in social equity for people of marginalized sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.
Queer Fall Fest is for anyone who wants to:
- Find out how to become an LGBTQ Center Ambassador and help shape Center programming.
- Learn about upcoming events scheduled or being planned for the semester.
- Get involved with student organizations that work towards equity and cultivate community for LGBTQIA+ and allied students.
- Learn about LGBTQIA+ specific services and resources around campus.
How do I attend?
Join us on Monday, August 15th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in Upendo Lounge! We'll have free food, fun, and other giveaways from attending organizations. You can meet with LGBTQ Center staff and connect with student organization leaders to find out more about available resources and upcoming community events, or just stop by the tables to say hi!
